She was believed to be from a middle-class household, as she had very good dentition and was at a healthy weight. She showed no signs of being on the road for long. She measured 5'5 and weighed 105 lbs., with hazel or brown eyes and medium brown hair, 10'', cut in a wing style. She had no surgical scars, birthmarks or tattoos, but had a 1.5 inch long vertical scar to the side of and above her right eyebrow.

 Murder & Discovery

Walker County Jane Doe was discovered November 1, 1980, a half mile south of the FM 1696 exit near Huntsville, Texas. She had been left nude and face down. The only person effects were her necklace; described by some sources as being a "smoky stone" which hung from a thin gold chain. It has since been lost. A pair of high-heeled sandals with leather straps were found nearby and are believed to be hers. The autopsy revealed that she had been severely beaten and vaginally and anally assaulted with a blunt instrument, before dying by slow strangulation. A human bite mark was found on her back/right shoulder area and was compared to dentals from Henry Lee Lucas, which did not match. However, it is important to consider Lucas had underwent a dental restoration before the comparison.

Attempts Towards Identification

As is written more extensively on the "Sightings" post, she told a truck stop waitress she was from the Aransas Pass/Rockport area. This general area is close to Corpus Christi. Taking this statement, high school yearbooks from the Aransas Pass/Rockport area were searched extensively, but she was not in any of them.
